Typhoon Hagupit Causes Delays in Asia


Typhoon Hagupit is causing shipping delays throughout Asia.  Air travel has been postponed and ships have been recalled to ports for safety.

PORT CONDITIONS

Shanghai WGQ
All terminals are experiencing minor berth delays with an average waiting time around a half day.

Ningbo
Wait time for a berth varies between a half to 3 days.

Qingdao
Minor berthing delays. 

Fuzhou
Cargo operations remained normal. Inbound pilotage expected to resume today.

Bangkok
Waiting time is currently at one to one and a half days due to ongoing congestion with a first come first serve situation at the pilot station.

Manila
Some minor berth congestion continues with much better productivity at all ports now.

Chittagong
Reefer yard is full in Chittagong. Terminals are under severe berth congestion with low productivity an ongoing concern.

Pusan
Terminal is experiencing severe congestion with two to three days wait for those arriving “off-window.”
