Update on Yellow’s Consolidation of Holland, New Penn, Reddaway, and YRC

Yellow has merged the networks of New Penn and YRC. It has also merged Reddaway with YRC. These are the first steps in Yellow’s plan to consolidate its four LTL brands (Holland, New Penn, Reddaway, and YRC) under the Yellow name.

These mergers are causing confusion for shippers , primarily because Yellow is using the equipment of the merged brands interchangeably.

If you are a shipper affected by this merger, please be aware that the YRC truck at your dock is handling pickups and deliveries for all three merged brands (New Penn, Reddaway, and YRC). Likewise, a New Penn or Reddaway truck is also handling your YRC pickups and deliveries.

Later this year we will see this same issue again when Yellow merges Holland into its consolidated network.

Next year, Yellow will rebrand its equipment, which will help clear up the current confusion among shippers.

UTS will share more information about Yellow's consolidation as it becomes available.
